Free Book Friday! And the winner of the Templar Traitor giveaway is . . .

I ran a competition last week with the prize of a free, signed copy of my new Mongol novel, Templar Traitor, which is based on the extraordinary true story an an Englishman who fought for Genghis Khan. I’ve had lots of correct answers to the simple question I posed: What 1970s novel by James Clavell about an Englishman in an alien Asian land inspired Templar Traitor? The answer, of course, is . . .

Shōgun is one of my all-time favourite novels and I must have read the book at least five times. I have also watched the two TV series and thoroughly enjoyed them. Anyway, congratulations to the following who gave me the correct answer: Tezza Rudge, Adam O’Moore, Eddie Gray, Phillip Radcliffe, Nick Brett, Jules Chance, Jemahl Evans, Peter Wilkinson, Trevor Heap, Paul Williams, Alan Barley, Karl Holmes and Daryl Haire. Thanks for playing the game and I’m sorry that you did not win this time. There will be more competitions. And now it is time to reveal the winner of the Free Book Friday competition who will receive a free, signed, paperback copy of the epic Templar Traitor, drumroll please . . .

The winner is . . . Patrick Larsimont. I will be contacting him very soon to ask for his address. For all those of you who are disappointed that you did not win, might I suggest contacting me for a signed paperback. I can sell you one for £20, if you live in the UK. Or if you want a cheaper, unsigned copy, go to Amazon, click link here, and fill your boots. The book is also available as an audio book and eBook.
