Gates of Stone: cover reveal
This is a sneak peak of the cover of my new fantasy novel Gates of Stone. It won’t be out till February 2019 and I’ve written it under a pseudonym (Angus Macallan) to differentiate it from my historical fiction titles. But I honestly think it’s the best thing I’ve ever written. It’s the first book in the Lord of the Islands series and it is set in a sort-of 18th-century Southeast Asia. It’s a rather like Game of Thrones but a little more Indonesian-flavoured and with, as one reviewer put it, a heroine “who would eat Cersei Lannister for breakfast”. I’m going to blog more about the plot, set-up and storylines on another date – it’s not out for eight months so you will hear lots more about this book on this site.
