The Last Berserker – the winners of the Free Book Friday giveaway are . . .
I held a competition last week to celebrate the publication of the paperback version of The Last Berserker and I’m proud to announce the three winners today. But, before I do, I would like to tell you all a bit of exciting news.
My new adventure novel is officially a No1 BESTSELLER on Amazon this morning, in the category of Viking Historical Romance. Woo-hoo! The book is a little light on romance – although there is a love story of sorts – but it is about Vikings and it is historical. So I’m feeling really chuffed today.
Anyway, now to the winners of the Free Book Friday competition: the three champions are . . . drum roll, please . . . Peter Abraham, Alan Barley and Christopher Godfrey. (Wild applause). Well done to all of them. If they would like to email me their addresses (use the CONTACT link above, as before) I will get their signed paperback copies of The Last Berserker in the mail as soon as I can get to the Post Office – probably on Monday. And if they want me to write anything in particular inside their copies – if for example it is to be a gift to a friend – then they should tell me in the email.
If you didn’t win this time – my deepest commiserations – there will be other giveaways. But you can buy yourself a copy of The Last Berserker here. You may also have already read it and be looking for something else to amuse you. In which case, have you read my two most recent Outlaw Chronicles volumes? Robin Hood and the Caliph’s Gold and Robin Hood and the Castle of Bones are now available as ebooks and paperbacks on Amazon.
One final bit of news: I will be giving a virtual talk about Robin Hood and other interests of mine (with questions) on Monday March 15 as part of the Inspire History and Imagination Festival. Tickets are only £3 (I think) and it should be a lot of fun. Here is the Inspire website, if you want to sign up.
It appears I won your signed book 🙂 thanks for that, but most of all thanks for your awesome work. Will be sure to give my other copy to my friend. keeps you doing what you do very well.
